Nabanita Dev Sen is a prize-winning poet, storyteller and a scholar. After studying arts and an analogous literature, she went to USA, where she continued with her studies. After completing her studies, she returned to India, trained several students in universities and institutes andheld several positions in academic institutions . She had published more than eighty books in Bengali, such as songs, anecdotes, tales, dramas, textual criticism, direct attempts, travel stories, satirical wits, summaries and children's literature.
