The Story of Nishi Daak

Nishi Daak forms a part of the famous mythology in the eastern part of India, in West Bengal and Bihar. In Bengali, Nishi means night or dark, but it is informally used and rather confined to literaty employment, and Dak means call or invitating a person. The Nishi Dak is a spirit that calls out or invites a person at night or in the dark in a known voice. It is a very harmful spirit, once reasonably normally met in East India. In West Bengal it is known as the Nishir Daak or the Call of the Night Spirit, whereas in Bihar and Jharkhand it is known as Nishi. Bijoy Chakraborty was coming back from his office as night began he moved through the fields at a quick pace, he suddenly heard a known voice calling his name first he thought some of his friends or relatives might be calling him and then he heard a voice of an old woman telling " Biju where are you going" and the lady said " Come to me Biju" it's voice looked similar like his paternal aunt who had  passed away few days ago  and Biju immediately went to her and was killed by her.

Credits of Nishi
The Nishis are believed to be the soul of the people who didn't have humble or full release as they moved from Earth to the desired world. A bulk tea distributor from Bihar had narrated that there was Nishi who was always in the lookout in and around his property. They are aware that Nishi is the spirit of a farmer who had passed away two years ago and the family of the farmer didn't finish the  ceremonies at Gaya's Pret Pahar in Bihar. Sometimes it is said that Nishi can arise due to a black magic by a tantrik. This mostly occurs for a month or two in a year and halts on a fixed day in a  month. The spirit, which could not achieve mukti or to be liberated from worldly obstacles, first affected the family as an arrogance then, when they didn't do anything, transformed themselves in Nishi. It is believed that the majority of the people who had lost their life in car accident are killed by Nishi. So it is believed that people who die suddenly and mysteriously transform into Nishi . Some people believe that until any particular ceremonies are held for the spirit of a Nishi victim, the person will also become Nishi.

Necessary Things to Recall about Nishi
The Nishi is remarkable for its inability to cry more than twice . Therefore, in villages, a person should try  respond to a cry thrice or more. But it is necessary to recall that the Nishi can be recognised if it shouts out a person's name not more than twice and only at night and different Chawla, which happens majorly in Rajasthan, and may transform on various forms and sounds, but can be recognised because it cannot keep the eye concentrated.

How to Stop Nishi Daak

If any person communicate with Nishi, it is very hard to stop Nishi until a good soul or another spirits saves the person. But if a person survives from Nishi , he or she can be brought to awareness and the Nishi can be asked for rituals and can be questioned on attacking human beings then through a powerful black magic Nishi leaves the world.
