Whether a person is in trouble, whether a person is in the ocean or battle or in the forest, person should recall Baba Lokenath as he or she would protect that person . He or she won't understand who is Baba Lokenath. He or she must pray to Baba Lokenath, and he would free the person from the sufferings and distress. More than two centuries after these words were uttered by a pundit, they have become popular all over Bengal. There was one pundit who detected that a century after his demise, he would be honourably respected by one and all. Approximately every Hindu Bengali house has his model placed in the family balcony, huge temples are being constructed in his adoration, thousands of worshipers succumb before him and magnify him as their Guru and Lord who is none other than Baba Loknath. He was born on 29th August 1730 to a Brahmin family in the village of Chaurasi Chakla named Kochua, which is a few kilometres from Kolkata. His parents' names were Shree Ramnarayan Ghoshal and Shrimati Kamaladevi who were genuinely passionate disciples of God. Baba Loknath's father, Ramnarayan Ghoshal, had one goal: to provide a child to the way of renouncement to rescue the family. He signified his wish to his dear wife Shrimati Kamaladevi, and she decided to support her husband Shree Ramnarayan Ghoshal in that steadfast decision. Subsequently Shrimati Kamaladevi became pregnant and gave birth to a gorgeous son and Shree Ramnarayan Ghosh advised her about their choice but Shrimati Kamaladevi was sad and didn't give her son. Soon she had given birth to three sons which were not snatched from her. Finally she gave birth to the fourth child Shrimati Kamaladevi gave her son to her husband Shree Ramnarayan Ghosh. Guru Bhagwan Ganguly decided to accept Baba Loknath as his one and only follower, as he waited for that occasion for his lifetime. But unpredictable condition happened when Baba Loknath's friend Sree Benimadhab decided to take him with them . When Baba Loknath was eleven years old, he left home with his guru. He visited Kalighat Temple in Kolkata and then stayed in the forests for 25 years, cheerfully providing for his guru and practising the Asthanga Yoga of Patanjali together with the most hard Hatha Yoga. Subsequently he moved to the Himalayas where he meditated in the disrobed for nearly five decades. Subsequently he achieved enlightenment at the age of ninety. After his civilisation he moved comprehensively on foot to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Arabia and Israel, constructing three expeditions to Mecca. When he moved to a small town Baradi near Dhaka, an affluent household constructed a small monastery for him. In the monastery he accepted the holy thread of the Brahmins and dressed himself in orange robes. For the rest of the life he accomplished miracles and gave divine guidance to everyone and offered a title named Baba. On 1st June 1890, Sunday at 11:45 he was meditating when he went into a dream with open eyes he had lost his life forever. He made a promise where he was perpetual he was immortal.
