Even in so called upper caste and educated society, we find some where married ladies being tortured mentally and physically which is a black spot for the cultured society. Here is a story of Jashoda who loses her mental state often on certain occasions due to her sufferings and her father in law though being a genuine gentleman, is not able to control the situation in his family and dies of depression.
