શક્તિસિંહ જાડેજા- શક્તિ. રાજસ્થાનના નાનકડા ગામમાં, સાવ ગરીબ ઘરમાં જન્મેલો વીર સૈનિક. સેનામાં કર્નલ પણ દેખાવે સાવ બરછટ અને કાશ્મીર અને લદાખ મા પોસ્ટિંગ મળ્યા પછી તો સાવ કાળો દેખાતો હતો. જવાબદારીના બોજે એને ઉંમર કરતા વધારે જ મોટો બનાવી દીધો હતો. પરિવારમાં માં, બાપ અને નાની બેન સાવિત્રી - સાવિ. શકિતની નોકરી લાગ્યા પછી એનો પરિવાર માંડ બે પાંદડે થયો હતો. આ વખતે એક મહિનાની લાંબી રજા લઈને સાવિના લગન લેવાનાં હતા. સાવિ યાદ આવતાં જ શકિતને શ્યામાની યાદ આવી ગઈ. શ્યામા સાવિની નાનપણ ની ખાસ સખી. આખો દિવસ બેય સાથેને સાથે. ખાલી સુવા માટે જ બેય અલગ પડે.
