To cope with his sadness, he drinks several shots of alcohol. Suddenly, he remembers that he left the painting in his car and calls the hotel manager to retrieve it. After the call, the effects of the alcohol and the cool breeze make him drowsy, leading him to fall asleep on the terrace. The story ends here, leaving a sense of mystery and intrigue about the haunted painting.
