The story titled "The Haunted Painting" follows the character Mohan after the mysterious death of Kamlesh. Mohan, having received a painting from Shekhar, spends time with his girlfriend Sonia before returning to his penthouse. Events surrounding Kamlesh begin to affect Mohan, culminating in a fatal encounter where a spirit, Shambhu, appears and kills Mohan, placing his body in a bathtub. As the day progresses and Mohan doesn't come down, the hotel manager sends a waiter to check on him. The waiter reports that Mohan is not answering the door. Concerned, the manager tries to call Mohan multiple times without success, leading him to use a spare key to enter the penthouse. Inside, they find Mohan's phone but no sign of him. One of the waiters then discovers Mohan's lifeless body in the bathtub, which is in a terrible state, leading the manager to realize that Mohan died from electric shock due to a broken geyser wire in the water. The manager contacts the police, who arrive shortly after to handle the situation. They confirm that Mohan's death appears to be an accident, but upon reviewing CCTV footage from the lobby, new information comes to light regarding the circumstances of his death.
