Chasing butterflies …….

(A spicy hot romantic and suspense thriller)

By

Kotra Siva Rama Krishna

It was a characteristic of Manohar whenever he felt bad or depressed the sexual urge in him would be trebled and satisfying it completely then was an impossible task. After Susmitha escaped from their hands so, he went to Madhuri and have her. It was almost a brutal rape since she never did cooperate heartfully with him in that act. Why that apathy in her he never could understand.

In fact he lost interest in Madhuri a long time back itself. If she was cooperating with him as he wished that interest might be continued now too but what she would do was just giving herself to him. He knew what she would see every time was how fast that would be finished. But sometimes it was becoming quite difficult to him to get a woman to satisfy his sexual urge. In such situations Madhuri was quite useful to him. However much passive she was while he was doing that to her, she was giving it to him and helping him satisfying his urge somehow. That itself would be worth a lot sometimes. Now also he was planning to go to her in half an hour or so as the urge was quite unctrollable in him.

It was not just her readily availability to satisfy his sexual urge and was beautiful but there was another thing also making him paitent with her and keeping her with him. Otherwise, he would have sent her away or finished with her in some other way. There was still some work need to be done by her. She was a friend to Susmitha and lot of information need to be known regarding Susmitha from her. Especially at present there was lot of necessity of her to him.

But where this Susmitha has gone he could not understand. They have planned everything so perfect and if she stayed few more days, they would have finished everything in the way they planned. His father knew the police commissioner well and would see no questions asked. They could make everyone easily believe that she left home without informing anyone. After six months or so he could easily manage everyone to believe that she died somewhere. What not possible in these days with money and until she entered into her twenty second year and married, his father was the guardian to her properties and they could use them.

But it all has happened like this only because of that foolish Madhuri! It seemed that Susmitha smelled the con when Madhuri tried to make her take the drug. She tried to give drug to Susmitha without taking herself any. That Susmitha knew the friendship between him and that Madhuri and understood he was behind in Madhuri’s doing so. But did she come to know everything they planned as well? Otherwise, how could she go away from this palace without knowledge to them? There were so many places to her to go if she wanted and how could they know about that? Along with the anxiety in him, the urge also was becoming more and more and he was just about to go to Madhuri.

“What is the use in worrying yourself so? We did the biggest mistake of ours. We let her go like that”

Hearing the voice of his father Nagendra Rao, Manohar turned his head towards him. “There is no use in self-blaming. We have to think what we need to do first.” Hissing out heavily Manohar said.

“You have got the wisest thought only now. How nice it would have been if you thought wise like this before.” Slumping himself in the nearby chair to Manohar, Nagendra Rao said.

“Dad, why do we feel this much fear? You are the guardian to her and her properties. Even she enters into her twenty second year, she cannot get any right whatsoever until she marries someone. So far I am sure she has no lover. I don’t think that she marries someone as soon as she enters into her twenty second year and put us into predicament.” Looking into his father’s face, Manohar said.

“I am not thinking as you are thinking. She is very much clever! Just see how she escaped from our hands. Once she knows that she is in constant danger until she marries even after she entered into her twenty second year, are you thinking that she remains calm?” looking irritatingly into the face of his son, Nagendra Rao said.

“But dad, I said to you that she has no lover, she has not even a boyfriend………..” Manohar tried to say something more.

“You fool, why cannot you think in a better way? Does not she know that you have been observing her hundred percent to know whether she is in love with some one or moving intimately with someone? Are you thinking that she let you know even she is in love with someone or wants to marry someone after knowing how much desperate we are to get our hands on her properties? ”

There was few seconds of painful silence between them both until Nagendra Rao broke it again. “The point you need to notice here is, she needs to do nothing to get her rights over her father’s properties except marrying someone after she enters into her twenty second year. She becomes the owner of all these properties just once that happens. If she does not make us put behind bars and satisfied by expelling us from her house we can consider ourselves lucky.”

“You are right dad. I have to agree with you.” Manohar nodded his head.

“You have to understand one more thing quite clearly here” Nagendra Rao said with a firm voice. “There are only twenty eight days left to her to enter into her twenty second year. I am sure like anything that she plans to marry someone once that happens. After that, she can do anything with these properties wherever she may be. You have to do something to her in these twenty eight days itself.”

“This should have been done a long time back itself not in these twenty eight days”

Hearing that voice they both turned back. There Nagendra Rao’s wife and Manohar’s mother Syamala stood with an angry expression in her face.

She came straight and slumped herself in the empty chair there. “I know that she is clever and intelligent. Somehow or other she guessed that we are not with bonafide intentions. If she lies doggo somewhere until she turns twenty two and marries someone, she knew very well that there would be no problem to her.”

Nagendra Rao nodded his helplessly and said “I agree with you hundred percent.”

“There is no use in worrying now. Just think carefully. You are having enough influence in all circles. Find her out and make her off the earth. It is not going to be much difficult to make the world believe that she died in an accident or something like that. It has to be done just in these twenty eight days itself.” Looking cautiously into her husband’s face, Syamala said. “I am sure just like you that she already plans to marry someone as soon as she enters into her twenty second year.”

“You are absolutely right. That girl perfectly knows my influence. She perfectly knows that I can make her off the earth without raising anyone’s doubt. That is why she so cleverly escaped.” Nagendra Rao hissed out and said.

“Not just that. She is too clever. To make us unable to track her through her phone, she destroyed it and threw it somewhere. However many times I called, there is only one message from the network ‘not reachable.” Manohar paused few seconds and said again “What mother has said is right. Why we have waited this long? It is more than five years that her parents died. We should have done with her in these five years or so.” There was regretful expression in the face of Manohar also.

“However much influential I may be, however much I can manage, I just could not think to murder my own sister’s daughter. Anyhow I am paying for my leniency now. No such mistake from now on. She would be done with at the earliest opportunity.” With firm voice Nagendra Rao said.

“Without raising anyone doubts. Be careful! Just because you can manage, you need not let it be known to anyone that she is murdered at your instance.” Syamala said.

“I am not a fool. You need not tell me like this.” Nagendra Rao angrily said.

Sitting together like that, they three spend nearly one hour scheming and plotting. By the end of it, Manohar completely has forgotten his urge.

“How did you sleep yesterday night?” looking into the eyes of Susmitha, Jayanthi asked.

“Very nicely. Quite peacefully.” Susmitha smiled. The day before also Jayanthi enquired Susmitha in the same way. They both were in the kitchen again.

“But your eyes are red as if you did not get good sleep.” Coming near to her and placing her hand on her shoulder Jayanthi said.

Susmitha indeed felt quite happier for the affection she was showing on her. After her parents’ death she was starving for such love and affection. All the village families would be like that or just this family, she could not understand.

“Is that so? I fell into sleep a little late last night but slept peacefully.” Slumping herself into the nearby chair there around the dining table Susmitha said. “Why my eyes are red I cannot say exactly.”

Jayanthi went near to the gas stove and lit it but did not stop her questioning. “Why did you sleep late last night?”

Jayanthi’s too much intrusion did not irritate Susmitha. She smiled and said, “So many disturbing thoughts. I could not get rid of them fast.” She paused a moment and said again “But when I fall asleep I have forgotten all about them and enjoyed a good sleep.”

Susmitha feared that Jayanthi might ask what were those thoughts but she did not. “You need not feel tension for anything as long as you are here. We all shall be quite helpful to you.”

“Thank you very much aunty. I really did not expect this much love and affection from you people. I am really feeling quite happy and thinking that I did a good thing by coming here.” Her voice was full of happiness.

With two coffee cups in a tray Jayanthi came near to her. She put the tray on the dining table and handedover one cup to Susmitha.

While Susmitha was looking into the steaming cup Jayanthi asked “How did you feel in our tope yesterday?”

“So good. So happy.” Taking a fast sip of the coffee Susmitha said “I never have been in such a place before. I really wanted to stay in that place forever.” Her face beamed with happiness.

“It is a favourite place to Madan too. He never does miss to go to that place in the evenings.” Taking the other cup into her hands and sipping the coffee Jayanthi said.

“I too would not miss going to that place as long as I stay here.” Continuing sipping the coffee Susmitha said.

“But I am not intended to take you everyday there.” They both turned their heads and found Madan there.

“I shall give you too a cup of coffee.” Coming off the chair she has been seated Jayanthi said.

“I shall pour myself a cup. You need not come.” Going near to the stove Madan said. He carefully clutched the heated coffee pot on the stove with the tongs and poured the coffee into the cup available there. Jayanthi sat in her chair again.

“You need not take me there. I know the way and I can go there myself.” Finishing the coffee and putting the cup on the table Susmitha said.

Madan could not think of what to say to that but sat in the other chair around the dining table.

“It is still morning. You people do go there in the evening. Don’t argue about that now.” Jayanthi said.

Madan and Susmitha nodded their heads.
