Come Back to Leave Me... Again - 7 - FIRST SPLIT-UP

FIRST SPLIT-UP

The happiness did not stay for a long time. Hritisha informed me that her family had decided to settle down in Delhi after the death of her bade papa. Her father will handle the business from India with her cousin brother, and he would visit Dubai as well once in a month to check Dubai’s business.
I was angry. On myself and on God. He had decided to pull a climax to my story when it did not even begin in the proper way.
I told Amrita about my feelings for her. She was not shocked, as she knew already that something was cooking between Hritisha and me. She advised me to be patient and wait for the right time to express my feelings. Hritisha and her family members came back to Dubai after one month for the visa cancellation formalities.
It was October 18, 2013, when I saw Hritisha, my crush or may be my love, for the last time. It was last day of her working. Mr. Yasir had arranged a farewell party for her. The Management invited us for a small get-together. The staff members of Hamdan Institute gave their speech about her, where they appreciated her hard work and her friendly nature. She also delivered a speech about the working environment. She turned her eyes to me when she said that she had made some good friends during the Job.
‘Congrats dude!’ Amrita whispered in my ears. She teased me.
‘Shut your mouth.' I said to her.
The other students, lecturers, and management of Hamdan Institute wished Hritisha a bright future ahead.
I had decided to wait for her at the metro station again. I realized that I would never see her again. I wanted to express my feelings for her. I wanted to tell her that I was crazy about her. I wanted to tell her that how much I loved her. However, it was like a Black Friday for me. I noticed that she was not in her place. I asked Hanifa, and he informed that her family members had specially come to the institute to take Hritisha back home, and they wanted to thank the officials and the management for taking care of her so nicely. Just like a family member.
‘I’ll miss you’ I texted her when I reached home.
‘Same here.’ Hritisha replied.
We did not talk much that night, as I was not in a mood to talk to anyone.
I engraved the date in my heart. October 24, 2013, marked the end. It took only five months before my love story ended completely.
I was missing Hritisha at the institute the next Friday. Her presence had grown on me. I was missing the place where she used to sit. I was missing the first day when I saw her at the Institute. She was in Delhi for real. However, she truly lived amidst my deepest emotions. I had accepted the fact that I would never see her again. Thankfully, destiny had other plans for us.
Hritisha got herself an Indian contact number as soon as she settled down properly in Delhi. She got a job at GENPACT as Process Developer within a month. Reet, her sister, had continued her study. She was also missing Dubai, although she was there for hardly eight months.
