We arrived at the ruins of an old ancestral house; the posts and floorings are the only ones left, but it's not the house that we came here for, it's the lake. When I was younger, I used to put daisies on the water and watch them as they float.
"This place looks great." he said watching the fireflies dancing on a not so far distance.
The wind blowed just right, slightly blowing his curls to the side. The moon was shinning so bright, as the lake glistened upon its reflection. It was like a perfect place, perfect time, and a perfect.. boyfriend to be?
"So, this is your special place?" he said, looking at me. The moon shined perfectly on his face, making his eyes even more captivating as it slightly glowed.
"Yup. Before this fame thing, I used to stay here and throw pebbles into the water whenever I'm mad." I looked back at him. His eyes were glued into mine. "This is where I used to practice singing." I smiled at him.
"Then you probably spent most of the day in here."
"Day.. And night."
"Wow. Well, look at you now."
I sighed. "When the time comes, I want to live here with my future husband and kids. I think that would be awesome."
He was still staring at me when I looked back at him, followed by minutes of silence. Oh great, what if he thought that I was referring to him? My heart was drumming rapidly inside my chest; what is he thinking about? Is he going to say: 'Hey, I told you that I love you but I never said that I'll marry you'.
In my peripheral vision, he was staring at the lake. His face was emotionless.
"The idea of having a wife and kids haven't crossed my mind yet.." I looked down on my toes as I gently kicked some small rocks.
"..until I met you." My body stiffened from where I was standing, did I heard it right? I lifted my gaze and looked at him in confusion.
"You probably think I'm joking." he smiled as he continued. I really don't care if he's joking right now. All I know, is that it felt so good to hear what he just said.
"Andria, I know we've been seeing each other.. like its a part of our daily routine. Being with you just makes my day, and it hurts to think that you're scared to trust me." he cupped my cheeks with his hands as he looked deep into my eyes. "But I'm willing to wait until you're ready."
I smiled at him as I slipped my arms on his waist and pulled him into a tight hug. I love him and it's all that matters now, I don't have to be scared.
I could hear his heart beating as I rested my head on his chest. Mine was beating fast as well. "Well today's the perfect time." he said as I looked up at him.
"Perfect time for what?" I asked.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. "I just bought it this morning before I went to see you." he smiled as he opened the box and took a bracelet out of it.
My eyes widened as a smile spreads across my face. "Michael, you didn't have to--"
"Shhhhh." he sticked his finger on my lips. "I want you to have this." he took my hand and placed the bracelet around my arms. "I want you to wear it all the time. It's a reminder, that I will always be here for you no matter what. And in case I'm not around, think of this as my representative." he grinned. "So if ever they asked you to undergo breast augmentation again, this will remind you that you don't need even just a tiny bit of enhancement." he chuckled.
"It's beautiful." I traced my finger on a heart shaped jewel in the middle, as tears of joy filled my eyes. "Thank you so much."
"The word 'here' was carved in the middle of the bracelet."
"I love it Michael." I said as I pulled him into a tight hug. We stayed in that position for a while. Just feeling his warmth against my body.
We stood there, just loving the moment like our life was dependant on each others arms. "We can't go on dancing without a song." he muttered against my ear, sending goosebumps all over me. It was then that I realized that we were slightly swaying. "Wait." he pulled out from our hug and pulled out his phone. Then suddenly, a song started being played.

"I know." he took my hands and placed it around his neck. "Too bad I can't dance as good as Ed." he sayid after putting his arms around my waist as he drew me close.
"We can ask him to teach us someday." I glanced up as I respond, and found Michaek's face only inches from mine. And there goes my heart again, pounding so hard against my chest.
"You're so beautiful." he whispered.

I couldn't find any words to say, so I just stood there.. feeling his warmth and internalizing every words he said.
"Michael, I'm not scared anymore."
He pulled out of our embrace and faced me. "Does that mean--"
"Yes, I'm your girlfriend from now on. Whether you like it or not." I giggled.
He smiled. "I love it." he said lifting my chin with his hand and gently presses his lips against mine, making the butterflies in my stomach go wild.
