There are many legends and stories about Kudusinh. Some say that while listening to the animals they had handed over, the Pakhawaj was silently listening to the sound of the Pakhawaj being played by his Guru brothers. There is also a legend of Chaulpur. It is said that once upon a crime of beating the courtier of Chholpur King, Kudusinh was imprisoned. There he practiced pakhawaj by playing stones in the prison walls. On the same day, a Pakhawaji who came from outside, swung in pride after defeating all the fortnight of the Chaulpur court and considered himself very worthy. Kudusinh's fame reached the king through the prison guards, and he defeated Kudusinh by calling him Kudusinh. Due to this factor, he himself was freed and spread the fame of the Chaulpur court.

The name of Kudusinh is so associated with Pakhawaj Badan that they will not be forgotten by the time the sound of Pakhawaj is heard.
