Chasing butterflies …….

(A spicy hot romantic and suspense thriller)

She remained silent. But her gaze was concentrated on Susmitha.

“I am afraid that she slowly and slowly becomes completely Mamatha. How surprising she has eaten chicken like that! Susmitha never does eat chicken so.” there was surprise in Madan’s voice.

“I have talked with Susmitha apologising to her for my behavior forcing her to eat chicken. But she did take it very lightly then. In fact she thanked me to make her ate chicken like that.” Went near to the chair there and slumped herself into it Sukanya said. “Moreover she took the decision to eat from now on whatever you eat.”

“But what is the necessity to Susmitha to behave like Mamatha? Not just that, whatever you may say that Susmitha eating chicken like that is quite unusual.”

Sukanya was about to say something but then there was movement in Susmitha. After undulating on the bed for some seconds Susmitha opened her eyes and found Madan and Sukanya there. She sat on the bed and looked at them both.

“When you both have come into my room?” she asked them while rubbing her eyes with her palms for clearing her vision.

“Just now. You may better go to sleep. Don’t disturb yourself.” Madan said with concern in his voice.

“But I have to take my dinner first. Downstairs all the people may be waiting for me.” She got off from the bed.

Madan and Sukanya looked at each other’s faces. Immediately their faces were taken over by bewildering expressions.

“We all have taken our dinner just fifteen minutes or so back.” Sukanya said.

“What! I too took my dinner?” there was surprise in Susmitha’s eyes.

“Yes you too. That you….” Madan tried to say something  more but Sukanya had thrown a warning look towards him and he stopped.

It seemed that suddenly Susmitha struck by a memory and a revelation. She made a frown and then said “Yes, you are right. I remember now that I have come to the dining table and sat in the chair. Then something happened to me and I don’t remember anything afterwards until I woke up just minutes back.” Then she put her hand on her stomach and said “My stomach is heavy. I have taken my dinner. But how I don’t remember any of that?” there was anxiety on her face.

“Don’t think anything more. Just relax.” Sukanya suggested.

“I just cannot. How can I?” she came fast to Madan. “Tell me Madan. Did I behave oddly at dining table? What did I do there? That devil has surfaced again, is it is not?” looking into the eyes of Madan, she asked.

“Yes… but… No.” Madan did not know what to say to her and looked anxiously at Sukanya.

Suddenly, without a warning, Susmitha hugged Madan strongly. “Please Madan. Tell me. Why I am behaving like this? When that devil leaves my body and goes away?”

“There is no devil in your body. Don’t imagine yourself like that.” Trying to detach her from his body Madan said.

“Then why I am behaving like this? Please don’t throw me away. You don’t know how much fear I am feeling now.” Hugging him even more strongly Susmitha said.

“Susmitha… here is audience. It may not be proper….” Madan tried to say something.

“To hell with audience. To hell with behavior and manners. I am afraid. I cannot remain away from you. Please be with me. Please save me from that devil.” Susmitha said with an exciting voice.

“Sure he does. But for the present save him from your bone crushing hug.” Coming near to them Sukanya said.

Susmitha left Madan and looked into the eyes of Sukanya angrily. “Who are you to interfere with us in this way?” she asked.

“A psychologist requested by Madan to save you from trouble.” Sukanya as well seriously said.

“I am not suffering from any psychological problem.” Susmitha was still angry.

“Whatever the problem may be, I am here to solve that.” Sukanya said even more firmly.

“Yes Susmitha. Sukanya is quite capable. Please cooperate with her.” with a pleading in his eyes Madan said.

Susmitha nodded her head. “Sukanya is a good friend to me. Just her intrusion between us made me angry like this.”

“Now Madan you may better make a move out leaving us both to get some sleep.” Sukanya said.

“Are you going to sleep with Susmitha then?” there was relief in the face of Madan.

“Under these circumstances I am not thinking leaving Susmitha all alone is a good thing. I shall try to be with her always from now on.”

“I never have thought that you would be this much good.” Madan said with a smile on his lips. “But how it would be if I stay with Susmitha instead of you?”

“No. It is not better. You both are feeling emotional and sentimental. You make the problem even worse. I am free of such type of emotions and I am a psychologist as well. So I shall stay with her.” She paused for a moment and said again. “However much intimate you both may be and going to be married, it is not better to sleep together before marriage”.

There came a troubling expression in the face of Susmitha on hearing that. Madan as well felt in the same way.

“You are right.” Madan nodded his head and observed Sukanya. There was a fixed and determined expression in her face. He was once again seeing the professional psychologist in her. He had got the confidence once again that she could solve the problem “I am retiring now.”

“Do something. Tell my mother and sister that I am going to stay with Susmitha for this night.”

Madan nodded his head and went out of that room.

Then Sukanya turned towards Susmitha and said “Susmitha… We must have a lengthy talk now.”

Susmitha nodded her head.

“You need not feel fear now to go into that tope.” Nagaraju came across Madan while he was going into tope.

Madan looked at him questioningly.

“Mamatha left that tree. She entered into the body of your girl friend.” As if he understood the question in his glance, Nagaraju said.

“How could you know about that?” looking at him surprisingly Madan asked.

“Mamatha herself told me that she would vacate the mango tree and enter into your girl friend’s body.”

Madan stopped feeling fear on his saying so. By then itself, he almost confirmed that Mamatha entered into the body of Susmitha.

“Thank you for the information. May I go now?” Madan irritatingly asked him.

“There is one way through which you can escape from Mamatha.” Nagaraju said as if he did not notice Madan’s irritation at all.

“What it is?” immediately hope filled in his face and eyes.

Nagaraju paused for a moment before saying “Give it to her. Give it to her while she is in the body of Susmitha. She loved you a lot. She wanted it from you a lot. But even before her wish fulfilled she lost her life. Give it to her while she is in your girlfriend. She would feel happy and forget about you both.”

“What is that I have to give to her? Please try to talk in an understandable way.” Madan asked him concealing his irritation with an effort.

“Give enjoyment to her in sex. Have sex with her. Mamatha in her body would be satisfied and leave it.”

“What is the guarantee that it would solve the problem? What is the guarantee that Mamatha would leave Susmitha’s body then?”

“I am hundred percent sure that it would solve the problem.” Without trying to say or listen anything more Nagaraju left that place.

“Are Pallav and Madan are serious in what they have said?” while Jayanthi was busy in kitchen while cooking, Mangaveni asked her.

“On which matter you are saying?” without turning and looking at her Jayanthi asked even though she could guess what her mother was meant?

“About their giving half of their properties to Vineet.” Her daughter’s neglecting way of talking was irritating to her. She went near to one of the chairs around the dining table and slumped herself in that.

“Hundred percent serious! They are having lot of love and affection on Vineet. In fact I am also having lot of love and affection on him. They both sure would do that.” Jayanthi said.

In other circumstances Mangaveni would have argued a lot on that and tried to see nothing would be given to Vineet at all. But now the situation had become different to her. Her second daughter gave herself to him and madly in love with him.

“Our Sukanya is moving too closely with Vineet. I think that you have noticed that.” Looking at Jayanthi, Mangaveni said.

“No. I did not observe that clearly. Is it is so?” turning back and looking at her mother Jayanthi asked.

“You became that busy and having no time at all to see what your sister is doing.” Mangaveni accusingly said.

“Sukanya is not a small girl. She is matured, educated and she knows very well what to do and what not to do.” Once again making herself busy in cooking Jayanthi said.

“If you hear what she did you would not talk like this.”

Jayanthi switched off the stove and came near to her mother and put her figure in another nearby chair. “Tell me what she did.” she asked looking into her mother’s face.

“She fell in love with that Vineet.” Mangaveni said with a small tone.

“Did she say so to you?”

“Yes, she said.” Mangaveni did not want to say then to Jayanthi what Sukanya further did.

Jayanthi nodded her head. “She did a nice thing. She would indeed lead a happy life with him. Vineet is a very good boy indeed.” She said.

“But he has no education and an orphan.”

“Mom… please.” Jayanthi said with a raising tone. “Don’t call him as an orphan. I, Pallav and Madan we three are for him. We love him a lot and like him a lot. As long as we are on the earth, Vineet is not an orphan.”

Mangaveni did not know what to say at all.

“No one asked your daughter to love him. If possible, make her not to go after him at all and stop loving him. But don’t try to derogate Vineet.”

“You know your sister’s nature very well. She would not listen to anyone at all once she has fixed on something.” With a helpless tone Mangaveni said.

“Whose mistake it is then? How you can blame Vineet for it?” Jayanthi was still angry.

“I am not blaming anyone. I am just anxious for my daughter’s future. Please see that Vineet marry her and keep her happy.” Mangaveni said.

When Sukanya entered into the room of Susmitha she was in deep thinking. She did not look at Sukanya at all.

“I know that lovers do think much about each other but I never knew that it would be this much.” After seeing one minute or so for response in Susmitha, Sukanya said.

Susmitha turned her head and looked at Sukanya. Her lips were opened with a small smile. She hissed heavily and said. “I am thinking deeply that is right. But it is not for my love.”

“Then about whom you have fallen in deep thinking like this?” sitting beside her on the bed Sukanya asked her.

“I think I have mentioned about Madhuri to you.” going near to the wall and leaning on that Sukanya said.

“Yes. You did. We have talked about her a little in the past.” Sukanya frowned. “What is the necessity to think about her much now?”
