Chasing butterflies …….

(A spicy hot romantic and suspense thriller)

By

“Are you started believing that a devil entered into Susmitha’s body?” with a frown Sukanya asked.

“Who would not believe seeing the incidents in sequence like this?” Madan said. “I am not hundred percent do believe in these devils, etcetra but what would be the problem if we try this exorcist technique as well.”

“But he would beat Susmitha with neem branches. They treat the people possessed by devils very cruelly.” Her talking became heavier. It became evident that she was suffering inside herself a lot.

“What is your suggestion then in this regard? Can you give a guarantee to me that you can make Susmitha hundred percent normal?” his eyes grew little in their sockets.

“Sure I can give you that guarantee. At present I am in little confusion. I have just completed my post graudation in psychology but I know enough how to treat psychological patients. At first I felt a lot confident regarding Susmitha’s problem. But why it is happening like this now I cannot understand.” She was trying to make herself enthusiastic and confident.

“You may do your trials. I want to try with what Vineet said as well.” Looking at Vineet, Madan said.

“It is not so that exorcists beat and torture the people possessed by devils. First they try to make an agreement with the devils. If they do not agree to what they have said then only they beat them and take the devil into a bottle or pot then seal it and then throw it into a very far away place.” Vineet said.

“It seems you know a lot about these devils and exorcists” Sukanya sarcastically said. It appears to Madan that she felt angry on Vineet as he was trying to make Madan agree to a useless and dangerous method.

“I did see it many a time before. It sure would work wonders. I have seen the devils go away from the subject bodies in no time.” Vineet said.

“You are sure saying false things to Madan to make him agree to this.” Sukanya was completely dissatisfied and became angry on the development of the issue in this way.

Vineet remained silent.

“I have no objection even Susmitha is treated a little roughly if the exorcist expels the devil from her body.” Madan said.  His mind was not hundred percent agreeing to this but he could not see any other way except that then.

Sukanya closed her eyes and leaned back in her chair. Madan realized that she was feeling bad thinking in herself that it was all because of her failure in making Susmitha normal.

“Don’t worry Sukanya. You may try as usual to make Susmitha free of that devil. But trying this exorcist method may get the result we want I think.” Observing her minutely Madan said.

“Alright then. May I go and take some rest?” getting up from the chair, Sukanya asked him.

“Sure. But tell me what is the next step that we have to take in your way.” Madan asked her.

She closed her eyes and nodded her head helplessly. “First use this exorcist technique as well and I try my level best once again in my way. If these both would not work then we shall think what would be the next step in the scientific way.”

“No, you should tell me now itself. I want to know what is that next step in your way.” Madan adamantly said.

“Why you are this much adamant I cannot understand.” Looking at Madan, Sukanya helplessly said. “We have to admit her into a mental hospital.”

Madan’s face subjected to an instant shock. “What would be done to her there?” his voice became feeble.

“Electric shocks would be applied to her.” She did not want to say that but she said. “It is not going to be easier and comfortable in this way either to her.”

“One more reason that we should try exorcist technique first.” Vineet said.

Madan nodded his head. “Alright. Go and take rest for some time.”

With heavy steps Sukanya left that room and Madan and Vineet only remained in it.

Sukanya came into her room and fall onto the bed. She closed her eyes and invited sleep but she knew it was not that much easier to her then to sleep. Several thoughts were invading on her and she could not control them at all. She frustrated and got angry on herself as she had to face a situation like this. Especially she could not see the suffering of Madan. He was a good friend to her and supported her a lot in pursuing her education in the past. But she had to let him suffer like that. Then she took the thoughts of Vineet into her mind particularly to escape from the other troubling thoughts.

She became successful and Vineet’s thoughts slowly filled her mind. With the onset of Vineet into her mind her heart filled with an unknown joy. Why his name alone and the remembrance of his figure giving her such a pleasure she could not analyse or know. Psychology deals with the mind but not with the heart. There was no science developed yet to understand heart and it was more typical and complex thing than the mind.

Her mind brought back the memories that she spent with Vineet after she came here. The first kiss she made on to him she still could remember. She could sense his shock initially when she kissed him but he recovered from it fast and received the kiss and pressed his lips strong on her mouth. She knew he was quite unexpected on that day to do sex in the guest house but when he involved in it with his heart he did it quite deftly. Then she remembered his affair with the auditor’s wife. She had forgotten about it completely until this moment. She had seen the genuineness in his eyes when he said it had happened only because of the blackmail by that auditor’s wife. Even it was quite undesirable and unethical in his life, the deftness in his dealing with her body so was because of that experience he had got with her. It seemed that woman made Vineet explore each and every corner of her body. Even she had not got any angry with Vineet, the knowledge of that incident in his life was little disturbing to her

She rolled onto her left side and the memories were making her feel more and more thrill. The very memory of that day was sexy and creating pleasure in her. For the first time she came to know on that day how sex tastes. As a psychologist she analysed her mind to see how it was affected with that sexual experiment with Vineet. It was like a fulfillment of a void in her and her mind felt complacent. As a psychologist she could not get success fully in analyzing all her feelings because most of them were related to the heart.

Another surprising thing in it was she did not feel any shame or awkwardness while his eyes bore on her naked body. At the same time she did not close her eyes at all while he was undressing himself completely. It was very first time indeed to her to see a male nude body and she felt a little disgust in the beginning. She had seen Vineet completely naked when they both were just children. But his nude body now was completely different from then. With those thrilling and happy thoughts, quite unknowingly, she slipped herself into sleep.

The next day Vineet took an exorcist to home and he was six feet tall and appearing formidable. There were neem sticks in his hand. He was in a traditional wear of a red colour panchi around his waist and a shawl of the same colour on his shoulders.

Madan and Sukanya told Pallav and Jayanthi about this and they readily agreed to this. But Pallav and Jayanthi were going to the marriage of Pallav’s friend’s daughter in the town near by and after hearing it they wanted to postpone it. But Madan and Sukanya strongly urged them to go there. Moreover, Sukanya requested Jayanthi to take their mother also with them without informing any of this to her and Jayanthi agreed to it immediately. By the time the exorcist entered into the house Pallav, Jayanthi and Managaveni went out of the house.

“I have explained everything to him. He can do what is required.” Vineet said.

“You must not beat or treat her roughly.” Looking into that person’s eyes Madan said. He had got an immediate feeling that he did a mistake by agreeing to this.

‘If she hears what I say there is no necessity to beat her.” the exorcist said.

“I too shall be with you while you are doing this.” Madan said while uneasily looking at the neem sticks in his hand.

“No, none of you would be allowed into there. There should be no one with her except me.” He firmly said.

“Not at all. I am not going to agree with this. You must allow some of us with her.” Madan said. He could not dare to leave his Susmitha with this exorcist all alone.

The exorcist closed his eyes and said “Alright you must not disturb us at all. Whatever I may do you must not stop me. Just remember I am doing all that only to expel the devil from her body.”

“Alright then. How much of time it takes?” Madan felt a little relieved as the exorcist agreed to that at least.

“One hour is enough.”

“Come I shall take you to her.” Madan took the exorcist into Susmitha’s room. Vineet and Sukanya as well followed them. He already explained this to Susmitha and she had agreed to this as well. She very well acknowledged the problem in her and agreeing for everything that Madan proposed to get rid of it was made Madan relieved and felt little happy. After entered into her room Madan said to her about the exorcist.

“Alright. No problem.” Susmitha said.

“The devil is in suppression in her body. That needs to be taken out to make an agreement with her.” that exorcist said.

“Do whatever you want. But the problem must be solved.” Madan said to him.

“Sure it would be. You need no doubt in it at all.”That person said.

“Start it then.” Susmitha said with a wane smile. He could understand that she was terribly feeling fear but did not want to show that out. Madan felt lot of pity on her. He was praying God to see that the problem would be solved atleast with this.

“Come….Come onto the surface O devil! Are you hiding inside fearing me?  Come out.” The exorcist yelled.

He made Susmitha sat in the chair placing it in the middle of the room. He proposed to tie Susmitha tightly to the chair but except Susmitha none of them agreed to that.

“Alright, if she turns violent and tries to escape you have to hold her and make her unmove.” He said.

All of them looked into each other’s eyes and there was uneasiness in them. “We have no objection to that” Madan said.

Then the exorcist started yelling so loud that everyone in a mile distance could hear.

“Why… Why not you do come out?” He started beating Susmitha with the stick in his hand.

“Stop…Stop that bloody nonsense.” Madan tried to go forward to stop him.
