Damaged Hearts Still Have Worth

Damaged Living Things Still Have Worth

Once upon a time in a small town lived a boy named Arthur. He was not from a well to do family. His friends were very rich. They had many toys and pets. One of his friends named Oliver had a very beautiful Dog. Then after he decided to buy a dog too.

Once when he was walking along a street and when he was looking towards a shop a shop owner placed a sign above his door that said “Puppies For Sale”.

He requested his parents a lot but poor child his parents didn”t have enough money to feed them how would they buy a puppy?

After decline he was very sad… But signs like this have always attracted young children and to no surprise, Arthur was fascinated and now leaving his waiting time and by now he couldn”t stop himself.

He approached the owner and asked, “How much are you going to sell the puppies for?”

The owner replied, “About $30 to $50.”

Arthur asked, “I have $2.37,” he said. Can I please look at them?”

The owner smiled and whistled and there came a man with 7 fluffy balls of fur. They were very adorable but soon he noticed a puppy lagging behind and struggling to run or walk.

Arthur asked, “What’s wrong with that little dog?”

The shop owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered it didn”t have a hip socket. It would always limp. It would always be lame.

The little boy became excited. “That is the puppy that I want to buy.”

The shop owner said, “No, you don”t want to buy that little dog. If you really want him, I'll just give him to you.”

Hearing this Arthur became sad. He looked at the puppy and then at the owner with firm and boldness in eyes and said, ‘I don’t want you to give him to me. That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I’ll pay full price. In fact, I’ll give you $2.37 now, and 50 cents a month until I have him paid for.’

The shop owner countered, ‘You really don’t want to buy this little dog. He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies.’

‘Well, I don’t run so well myself, and the little puppy will need someone who understands!'” The little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace. He looked up at the shop owner.

Owner that day understood that regardless of Health issues you should always value that thing whether being living or nonliving.

Everyone should learn a few basic learnings whether be a 5 year kid or 50 year old man. We never stop learning. And these lessons should be spread to all whether be with help of Speech or be with such stories but values some or the other day prove you odd in front of the whole world.
