Next morning, I decide to be with my aunt and ask her to come along with me to New York, give your shop and home on rent. She refused to do so. I want her to take her last breath at my place. Your Uncle left lot of memories. She has no child as she always had some health issues so she was unable to bear the child. I am only one for her. Okay, if you don’t want to come then I will come every Friday and stay with you till Sunday evening. I kiss her. As you wish my child. We both go for a walk and left my cell phone at home. These two days are for my dearest aunt. We walk in an amusement park in Texas city. We talk about past, present and my future. I know she is worried about me but she doesn’t show it. If Byron turned out to be a nice guy, I would have asked him to marry you in front of my eyes. Please aunt everything happens for a reason, if we divorced each other after you then what! He is not good enough. Then I had cursed him from heaven she says and we both laugh. I tell her about Hannah’s wedding with Victor. Who is next? I think Joey or Marlin. I reply. How’s Gloria? She is expecting and happy too. Give my blessings to her. I will ask them all to come with me next weekend. Then we will have a party. I want you to cherish every moment of life. We go to some art gallery as she is fond of paintings. I purchase for her. She looks happy and healthy and no one can say that she will be going from this world very soon. God is unfair. He took my parents, my uncle and now my aunt. He has chosen my people only what about the rest of the world. My subconscious nods by hearing this. Nora, let’s go and have lunch. I agree with her, we reach the café name “platinum”. Music is good and ambience is superb. She smiles when she listens her favourite Celine Dion song, “where does my heart beat now”. We eat cobb salad, chicken fried streak, baked beans and an apple pie. She sings so well! she says while eating. Yes, she is, I am happy to spend time with you Nora because as you are always busy with your friends. Aunt, I am always there for you, you had given me a call when you were in hospital. Mrs May asked me several times to call you but I refused because I wanted to meet you at home. Mrs May really takes care of you. Yes, she is a great neighbour. I agree. She always stands by my aunt side. She treats me like her daughter. When she will be back from South Africa? Most probably on Monday. Finish your apple pie you ordered and I laugh as she hardly touches her dessert, I know after all this treat is from your side. We both laugh.
In evening, we shop from different stores, she again pampers me with lot of dresses. I wanted to do the same for her and asked her to purchase her favourite dress and she happily agreed. After enjoying our whole day. We came back home with happy heart. I giggle while she cracks old jokes with me. The day we spend was super cool. I go to my room to rest and asks her to rest as she looks tired too. I pick my cell phone and open it, lots of emails and messages were there. I first check other messages and then I move on to my ‘high school buddies’ group and literally feel disappointed and bad while seeing their messages.

I throw the cell phone from the bed and dump it on the floor in frustration and lay on bed and stare at the ceiling.
When friends judge you, it hurts. They are not people they are my best buddies. Why are they doing that? Hannah is blind in love. What about others, after sometime my cell phone again pings and I grab it back in my hand and read.

Truth is that only Gloria understands me. She is sweetheart, how lucky I am to have her. She is far from us but still she manages. They are so close to me and what the fuck are they doing?
