Sifarish - The Dairy - 3 - 1

Father, Mother, Chachi, Chacha, and Nand… everyone was there, except Saif.

Despite everything, the family seemed kind and supportive. Saif was the eldest son of the house, while Zareen was the only daughter—though she was Chacha’s child.

They all began asking Rizvi about Saif. With a composed expression, she replied softly,
“He is still sleeping.”

Saif’s father then asked Zareen to go and bring him downstairs.

The elders sat together on the sofa and made Rizvi sit beside them. With affection, they began explaining the customs and values of the house. Rizvi listened attentively, nodding in understanding.

Gently, Father placed his hand on her head, blessing her with warmth.

Just then, Saif came rushing down the stairs.
Today, Rizvi was dressed in a beautiful red outfit, glowing with grace, while Saif wore a casual T-shirt, jacket, and jeans.

Mashallah… both of them looked incredibly charming. Together, they made a striking pair.

Saif walked over and sat beside Chacha.
Father looked at him and said,
“Saif, come here and sit next to your wife.”

Saif made an innocent face and obeyed, sitting beside Rizvi.

Rizvi glanced at him once—just a fleeting look… yet filled with unspoken emotions.

For a brief moment, their eyes met.
And then, as if caught in something fragile, both lowered their gazes shyly.

From a distance, Zareen watched everything, thoroughly enjoying the moment.

Father turned to Rizvi and asked gently,
“Are you happy, dear?”
Rizvi replied softly,
“Yes, Papa.”

Mother added with warmth,
“My child, if there is anything at all, you can tell us without hesitation. And remember… everyone here is yours, so don’t worry about anything.

"Rizvi nodded respectfully.
“Yes, Ammi.”

Chacha leaned forward with a playful seriousness.

“Now it’s my turn. Rizvi, dear, if Saif ever troubles you, you can come straight to me with your complaint.”
Saif sighed inwardly.
“Oh no… where have I landed?”

Chachi smiled knowingly and asked,
“Now tell us… what did Saif give you for the ‘Muh Dikhai’?”

Things had already gone too far. Saif’s words had become unbearable.

One question kept circling in Rizvi’s mind—if Saif truly loved someone else, then why had he never told his family? Why had he kept it hidden all this time?

On one side, her life was now tied to Saif… and on the other side, there was that unknown girl.

If things continued like this, all three lives would be ruined.

Before the situation worsened any further, Rizvi knew she had to find out the truth.

The clock in front of her showed it was 10 in the morning.

At this hour, everyone was usually busy with their own work. Saif was not at home either, and that gave her an idea.

If you want to truly understand someone, start your investigation with their family or close friends.
That was the first stage.

The second stage would be the neighbors…

but this was about her own husband.

Rizvi decided to begin her first investigation—with Zareen.

She walked around the house searching for her and finally found her.

Zareen looked at her in surprise and said,
“Bhabhi? You? What brings you here?”
Rizvi gave a small smile and replied,
“Nothing really… I was feeling bored in the room. And honestly, I don’t have anything to do yet, so I thought I’d come and spend some time with you.”

Zareen laughed softly.
