Yasodhamma (Old Lady) daily teach some moral Stories and moral values to her grandson and play with him. And also children of their neighborhoods daily visit her to listen her moral Stories and to play with Raju.. As she is the most lovable person among all the people in the village, they visits her to take advises from her and also the old lady teach some moral values, share all her experiences she faced in her life to them. Gradually, her name and her renown spreaded to all the other areas too.. So, people from all over would visit her and ask her advice.

But there was one person named Suri who would visit the old lady (Yasodhamma) almost everyday with the same problem and would always cry about it. No matter what the old lady advised him, but the man (Suri) was never satisfied. Then the old lady think about him the whole day and she decided to taught him (Suri) a lesson.

One day when the man came to her, the old lady told him a joke.

The man roared with laughter and loved the joke.

After a couple of minutes, the old lady told the same joke and the man (Suri) just smiled.

The old lady told the same joke for the third time but the man (Suri) did not laugh.

The man (Suri) said why are you repeating the same joke again and again? I can’t keep laughing every time!

The old lady smiled and said

“Yes you are right! You can’t laugh at the same joke over and over. So why are you always crying about the same problem?”

Suri understood what the old lady said to him and he realised his mistake. He promised the old lady that he would not try to think more about his problems and don't cry, instead try to found the solution for his problem and he would try to concentrate on other useful works for his career and family.

Moral of the story:

Constantly worrying won’t solve your problems, it’ll just waste your time and energy.
